Come verificare se una connettività WAN é sulla linea di backup ISDN

Tante connessioni WAN hanno un linea di backup ISDN sui router Cisco. Se la connessione WAN, per esempio in MPLS, va down vogliamo scoprire se la linea di backup ISDN va up e forse vogliamo anche sapere quante volte succede e quali costi telefonici vengono prodotti.

Per realizzare tale soluzione possiamo usare il seguente check:

/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_snmp_int.pl -H <HOST/IP> -C <SNMP-Community-String> -n Bearer -D -i

Il check verficia se la BRI Bearer fisica sul router Cisco ha come stato DORMANT o DOWN, in tale caso l’output del check è OK:

BRI0/1/0:2-Bearer Channel:DOWN, BRI0/1/0:1-Bearer Channel:DOWN:2 UP: OK

Se la BRI ha lo stato UP l’output del check è CRITICAL:
BRI0/1/0:1-Bearer Channel:UP, BRI0/1/0:2-Bearer Channel:UP: 2 int NOK : CRITICAL
