Welcome to version 4.40 of our NetEye v4 Unified Monitoring Platform. For this release, we’re taking you on a calming walk around Lake Dobbiaco, through a calm snowy winter landscape. The area is covered under a small layer of snow and the cloud-covered sky illuminates the scene softly. Just don’t forget to pack warm winter clothes.
As part of the ongoing efforts to streamline NetEye installation, update and upgrade procedures, we are pleased to announce the inclusion of Elasticsearch in the parallel automated configuration of the NetEye services.
This update accelerates NetEye configuration processes and it is only a part of a broader, long-term strategy aimed at continuously enhancing our procedures.
To help NetEye users access GLPI asset data faster without switching platforms, GLPI asset details are now displayed directly on the monitoring host page via seamless integration. This allows users to view key asset information (e.g., hardware, status, metadata) in one place, saving time and improving efficiency. This feature is available exclusively for systems with the NetEye Asset additional module installed.
NetEye 4.40 has upgraded its Elastic Stack to version 8.17.0, allowing all SIEM and Observability users to take advantage of the latest features, performance improvements, and bug fixes.
For a deeper understanding of the new capabilities and improvements introduced in Elastic Stack 8.17.0, please refer to the official blog post. A full list of feature enhancements, fixes, and other changes can be found in the official release notes.
