We are continuously expanding our VueJs integration in NetEye, and we believe that having the opportunity to attend a dedicated conference, not far from home, was an opportunity not to be missed.
So on the 10th of November, we joined the Vueday conference in Verona. Vueday is the main international conference in Italy that’s dedicated exclusively to Vue and its ecosystem. It’s organized by GrUSP, a community founded in 2003 as a PHP User Group, which has become the reference point in Italy for best practices in all fields of web development.
We had the opportunity to see a powerful example of how AI can be integrated into a VueJs-based website, presented by Vanessa Otto. In particular, we learned how to use Open-AI to enrich the functionalities of a Rich Text Editor. We saw practical techniques for precise and targeted actions, including text translation, tone modification, and seamless adjustments within the widely adopted headless editor.
Another interesting speech was related to unit test development and best practices. As you know, unit testing is hard. And unit testing Vue components is even harder. In this talk, Natalia Tepluhina shared some good testing practices developed over the years of her Vue experience.
Also, Marco Zuccaroli presented an interesting topic: he shared his experience on how to handle multitenancy on a VueJs application.
We believe that conferences are important for devs, they are still the best chance to travel, connect with new people, and have a great time learning new things. What better place to share your ideas, get valuable feedback, and connect with relevant people as a programmer than at an in-person dev event?!
They are obviously a great opportunity to expand your knowledge, learn and improve.
Hi, I'm Valentina and I'm a Frontend Developer at Wuerth Phoenix. I started out my career applying my Cryptography skills to coding, but really quickly fell in love with the web. I have been making websites and applications since 2012 and I still can't get enough of it. Along the way I found a passion for front-end development, and I use this passion to create interfaces that solve problems. When I'm not creating beautiful solutions, I enjoy cooking or doing sport, while listening to beautiful music.
