The hackathon with the most panoramic view this week took place on the “Plan de Corones” in South Tyrol. The over-2000-meter a.s.l. event venue in the Puster Valley offered exciting development challenges, a breathtaking view within the heart of the Dolomites, and many chances to express creativity even beyond lines of code.
Würth Phoenix contributed to the event with a special challenge. We placed Alyvix devices at 84 tourist locations, where the expected coverage by the Internet provider is well known. This data opens an avenue to quite a few investigations. Where should I go on holiday if Internet connectivity matters a lot to me? Is the provider right in claiming always-available free Internet, and where should the provider strengthen its presence to reach maximum impact in terms of satisfied users? The “Hacksüdtirol” team solved the challenge in an imposing manner. Congratulations! More details on this team are coming soon!
