Beginning with EriZone 5.5 we have integrated human signatures on mobile devices.
It’s now possible for the agents to obtain a digital signature and store it as an included image for the last ticket article. After that, the full content of the article – including the signature – can be printed.
We have provided a new agent module (action) called AgentTicketSignature. You can configure it just like all standard actions using Frontend::Agent::Ticket::ViewAgentTicketSignature. Here you can pre-fill the article note’s subject and body, and set the signature image size.
Note that even if the Article Note is disabled, it is still possible to use the signature widget. Just enable the output filter Ticket::EventModulePost###AddSignature
The subject and body are still set in Frontend::Agent::Ticket::ViewAgentTicketSignature.
In order to use the Signature action, you will need to enable it:
Ticket::Frontend::MenuModule###777-AgentTicketSignature
Once configured, it can be used with mobile devices either by adding an article with the signature to the ticket
or by letting EriZone create an article for you.
Then the last created article will contain the signature, which you can visualize in the Ticket Zoom Views
Finally, you can print the article with the signature. In fact, using the advanced printing functionality of EriZone, you can print your ticket/article including all images:
