EriZone 3.6, which will be released at the end of this year, comes up with some enhancement concerning the budget management module.
Budget templates have been introduced. It is now possible to save existing budgets as templates for future reuse. Using the budget template allows to easily create a budget structure ready to be filled in.

Another interesting feature is budget splitting.
When a budget item is created, it is possible to specify to whom it will be assigned and to which specific organization area (Queue) it is referred to. Splitting the budget, for each item, a new child ticket is created in the specified queue and is assigned to the specified agent.

Once the budget is split, each budget item can be managed by the correct budget item owner. The permissions to the child ticket are still defined by the role assigned to the agents, but only the budget item owners can modify budget item values.
