Durch die Einführung von PowerShell wurden uns viele Türen im Bereich des Windows-Monitorings geöffnet.
Die Erstellung verschiedener PowerShell Skripts, ermöglicht uns aussagekräftige Cluster-Monitoring Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Der erste Schritt hierzu, ist die Installation des NSClient Monitoring Agent auf allen Windows Cluster-Knoten. Empfehlenswert ist die Überwachung der Standard Betriebssystemkomponenten wie CPU und Speicherplatz auf den Platten. Um Windows Mount-Punkte (LUNs) zu überwachen, können Sie Funktionalitäten welche von NSClient geboten werden, genutzt werden. Durch die Verwendung verschiedener PowerShell Skripts, gelingt die Überwachung von
dem Status der einzelnen Cluster-Knoten
dem Status der Cluster-Resourcen
der Funktionen der Cluster Shared Volumes
uvm.
Durch die Definition der korrekten, externen Skript Commands für die PowerShell Skripts im nsclient.ini File, ist es sehr einfach die entsprechenden nrpe-Checks im NetEye System zu erstellen.
