RUE: Dynamic Filters for your Network Request Analysis
Finding specific requests to identify possible problems of monitored network services is one of the most crucial and important features of our system. With the new version 1.9 of our NetEye Real User Experience we have improved the filter function for your network analysis, allowing you to find specific network requests more easily and more flexibly. In this way you are able to restrict your requests search according to specific criteria defined by yourself.
First of all we introduced the possibility to add a dynamic number of filter fields. According to the selected protocol you can see all available fields and add them to your filter, specifying the desired value. The result of the request search will display only the requests satisfying the filter conditions.
To further simplify the application of filters in your request analysis we additionally introduced an advanced filter value selection, which helps you selecting the desired value of your filter. By double clicking on the text field of the applied filter a dialog shows you the values of the most recent requests (time period can be specified individually ) captured by the system. In this way you can choose the desired value easily and without the risk of typing errors.
Finally, you can also store frequently used network request searches as preset in your profile. Simply insert all desired parameters and click on the “save settings” button in the “Presets” section of the Analyze functionality. The system stores your presets for future use without inserting again all parameters.

I graduated in 2013 in Applied Computer Science at the Free University of Bolzano but I started working as software engineer at Würth-Phoenix already in May 2012. My main competence is the development and improvement of the “Real User Experience” solution.For me computer programming is not just work, but i like scripting and creating my own software also in my free time. Already as a child I was amazed by computers and their technology. So at the age of 12 I bought the book “C for dummies” and started learning programming on my own 🙂 Later on I discovered the open-source world and I started loving it from the first moment.In my free time I also like mountain biking, hiking, and of course playing the trombone in various music bands.
