The Politecnico of Turin presenting mPlane at the Open Source System Management Conference
Stefano Traverso, speaker at this year´s Open Source System Management Conference
Illuminating the currently obscure dynamics of the Internet. Sounds scary. But this is exactly what the European-wide active consortium of the mPlane project is aiming. mPlane is an intelligent measurement tool for Network and Application Management. IT consists of a distributed measurement infrastructure to perform active, passive and hybrid measurements; it operates at a wide variety of scales and dynamically supports complex network systems.
All details on this interesting initiative launched in primis by the Politecnico of Turin will be presented by Stefano Traverso at the Open Source System Management Conference. Stefano graduated at the Politecnico di Torino in Networking Engineering and then took part of the Telecommunication Network Group at the Dipartimento di Elettronica of Politecnico, before joining in favor of an internship at Telefonica I+D research center in Barcelona. He participated in different European projects – beside mPlane also for Napa Wine, a network aware peer-to-peer application.
We´re looking forward to Stefano´s presentation on the 18th of April. Not yet registered? Confirm you participation here.
