Come dice Crozza nella sua parodia di Bersani questa può effettivamente essere la sensazione di un service desk che si trova a cercare di risolvere dei problemi sull’infrastruttura senza averne di fatto nessun accesso perché questo è gelosamente custodito dai sistemisti o dal supporto di secondo livello.
Per venire incontro a questo tipo di esigenze è nato l’ Action Launchpad che permette agli operatori di service desk di eseguire delle azioni guidate con i diritti e gli accessi corretti sui sistemi stessi.
I vantaggi sono molteplici, le azioni che vengono permesse sono definite dai sistemisti e quindi testate in origine escludendo la possibilità di errori procedurali, vengono eseguite con l’utente corretto ed abilitate solo su determinati sistemi, permettendo ad un utente non esperto di eseguire delle verifiche ed azioni correttive che diversamente non avrebbe.
Il service desk ottiene un buona autonomia che permette di risolvere gli “incident” senza dipendere ogni volta dal supporto di secondo livello il quale a sua volta guadagna tempo per le questioni più complesse.
